I had mixed feelings about my stay at Riad Abaka. The location was central, just a short walk to the main square, and the breakfast was decent, but I had several issues with the staff and facilities. On the downside, I experienced poor service, and my room was quite cramped, which honestly dampened the experience for me overall.

The room was cozy, but it felt a bit claustrophobic and lacked privacy since the en-suite toilet was not fully separated. High-quality towels and bedding were a plus, but I expected more space and amenities.
Service

Staff seemed unprofessional at times; I felt ignored during breakfast and had to chase them down for towels. Plus, I had issues with my airport pickup that were not handled well.

The location was perfect for exploring the medina, just minutes away from Jemaa el-Fna square, making it super easy to get around.

Breakfast had some nice options like boiled eggs and pastries, but I felt they could have offered more variety. It was also a bit inconvenient having breakfast in a separate location.
Facilities

Facilities were basic; I was hoping for more luxurious touches and prompt housekeeping, but found the communal areas often untidy.

My stay at Riad Abaka was a mixed bag. The location was fantastic and the atmosphere was enchanting, but there were some service hiccups that affected my experience. The staff was friendly, but at times unprofessional, and the dining options left a bit to be desired. Overall, the charm of the place made up for some shortcomings, but there's room for improvement.

The room I stayed in was spacious and beautifully decorated, though the en-suite toilet lacked privacy since it wasn't fully separated. It was clean and comfortable overall.

The staff was generally friendly and helpful, especially Khadija at the reception, but I encountered some lapses in professionalism, like delays with my wine order.

The location was ideal, just a short walk to the main square and souks, making it easy to explore Marrakesh.

The breakfast was simple and started a bit late for those with early tours. I also had a disappointing experience with a restaurant's salad that caused food poisoning.
Facilities

Facilities included room service and helpful tour assistance, but some areas were not consistently clean.

I had high hopes for my stay at Riad Abaka due to its central location and authentic decor. but the experience fell short in several areas. The noise from the streets was quite disruptive, and the service was inconsistent, leaving me feeling frustrated at times. Overall, there were moments of charm, but I wouldn't say it was a seamless getaway.

My room was directly next to the lobby, which made it quite noisy. it didn't quite match the descriptions I saw online. While it was adequately clean, I found it lacked necessary surfaces for my belongings.
Service

The staff's friendliness varied. some were very helpful, like Idriss and Mona, who made me feel welcome, but others were less attentive. There were instances where my requests seemed misunderstood or ignored.

The riad is in a fantastic location, close to the souks and the vibrant Jemaa El-Fnaa square. but be prepared for the associated noise that comes with being in such a bustling area.

Breakfast was simple and often a challenge to request more. I found the limited choice quite disappointing, as I'd hoped for a more diverse offering during my stay.

The facilities felt basic and could use some improvement. for example, there weren't enough towels provided, and room service was hardly available.

I had a mixed experience at Riad Abaka. On one hand, the location was fantastic, just a short walk to the main square, and the staff were friendly. On the other hand, my room was a letdown, being dark and right next to the reception, which was noisy. I was charged extra for paying with a card, which felt unfair.

My first night was spent in a room right next to the reception, which was pretty noisy and not as nice as the photos suggested. The second night, I got a better room, but overall, privacy was an issue.

The staff were helpful and friendly most of the time, but I did have an issue when one of the receptionists struggled to call my transport, making me lose it.

The location is spot-on, just a five-minute walk to the main square. It's in the heart of the bustling Medina, so I could easily explore nearby attractions.

Breakfast was decent, with some good options, though I found it a bit small. I also had a meal at a connected restaurant, but the service was slow, and I had some concerns about food safety with certain dishes.

The riad has a beautiful rooftop terrace, which I loved, but the dining facilities could use some improvement since there aren't many dining options on-site.

My stay at Riad Abaka was enchanting, immersed in the heart of Marrakesh's Medina. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. Although the breakfast offered could have been more varied, the overall experience in such a picturesque location, surrounded by charming streets and beautiful decor, was wonderful. I found the pool a bit cold but refreshing after a long day exploring. 🌟

The Berber Horse Rider Suite was clean, comfortable, and had an amazing shower. However, one room was small for four adults with too little space for luggage.

Riad Abaka is ideally situated just a minute from the main square. It's nestled in the charming maze of the Medina, which adds character but can feel a bit intimidating at night.
